While studying at Oxford, Paul was the Student Computing Representative for his College. He initiated an IT Workshop Evening and, working with the College IT Staff, was able to support his peers with their IT problems. In this role he was also able to support the College IT Department in developing and implementing undergraduate services.
During his time at University, he rowed for his College, qualifying for the College First VIII in his third year. He swims regularly and also enjoys diving.
Paul enjoys travelling, and has travelled to many different parts of the globe. Whilst at University, he was involved in Industrial visits to China and Europe, representing the University of Oxford. He has also travelled extensively within Europe, the Middle East, North America, Asia and Australia.
At school, Paul held the position of Student IT Technician. In this role, he was able to aid both students and teachers alike in improving their IT capabilities. He played as First Clarinet in the school's Senior Orchestra, regularly playing at public functions. He is a competent clarinetist (Grade 5), excelling at the theory of music (Grade 5 Theory of Music: 85%).
He also regularly gives blood.
